Enviro-Plast GRP doors are made from a glass-reinforced polyester and have a smooth, seamless, non-porous finish. The Enviro-Plast is designed to be installed where a high degree of hygiene is required, combined with a resistance to damp. It is particularly suited for use in laboratories, hospitals, aseptic rooms, dairies, pharmaceutical and food factories, supermarkets, swimming pools, saunas, abattoirs and kitchens. The GRP doors can be installed in all manner of hostile environments and will not harbour bacteria, absorb moisture, swell, rot, warp, dent, sag or corrode.

The Enviro-Plast is light and easy to open, yet strong and durable. The built-in colour retains its attractive appearance without the need for painting and the door requires minimum maintenance. Two types of Enviro-Plast are available. K Type door is 40mm thick and consists of seamless grp around a polyurethane or fire-resistant core. Available as single or double action, with single or double leaves. S Type door has a thin blade of solid grp with a 40mm thick reinforcing spine, available as double action only on both single and double leaf doors.

The GRP doors are available in fire-rated versions, tested to BS476. Options cover both single and double door sets, with a range of fire resistances from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Both GRP doors are supplied with a choice of door furniture and, where required, fitted with grp bumpers or clad with pvc rubber cladding up to 1m high for heavy traffic areas. The doors can be fitted with single or triple glazing as required and fire-rated versions are also available. K Type and S Type doors can be fitted to the customer's own frame or can be pre-hung in aluminium, stainless-steel, grp or rhs frames.
